Candidates selected for this role will work directly with Apkudo; however, their employment will be facilitated through our Employer of Record (EOR).
As an EOR employee, the designated EOR partner will manage all payroll, benefits, and compliance matters while Apkudo sets day-to-day work responsibilities and performance expectations.
As a Software Engineer, you will help develop, maintain, and enhance software that processes device data and streamlines shipping, receiving, and triage workflows for returned connected devices.
Collaborating with teams across the company, you will contribute to integrated software and hardware platforms that boost automation, efficiency, and system stability.
BS in Computer Science or related field
2-5 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality features and improvements.
Proficiency in Python, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, with expertise in database design and maintenance.
1+ years of experience with AWS Cloud or similar cloud experience, with a strong understanding of cloud-based systems and technologies.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to document technical processes, features, and updates to support knowledge sharing and system continuity.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
Cross-functional team collaboration and leadership skills, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Exposure to warehouse automation and Robotics is a plus.
Develop and maintain software solutions to support Apkudo’s integrated software and hardware platforms, with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and system stability.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and other relevant programming languages, with a strong focus on code quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and QA to deliver high-quality features and improvements, with a strong focus on communication and teamwork.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure platform stability and performance, with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical skills.
Assist in database design and maintenance, including writing queries and optimizing performance (e.g., PostgreSQL), with a strong focus on database management and optimization.
Test and validate software functionality through unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, with a strong focus on software quality and reliability.
Document technical processes, features, and updates to support knowledge sharing and system continuity, with a strong focus on technical writing and documentation.
Stay current with emerging tools and technologies relevant to Apkudo’s products and services, with a strong focus on professional development and growth.
